Description
This unique liveaboard float home offers an affordable opportunity to enjoy life on the water without the cost typically associated with traditional waterfront living. Set on a pontoon base and thoughtfully converted for comfortable residential use, this is a practical and creative option for someone looking for a simple lifestyle, weekend retreat, or low-cost floating home project with real upside.
Completed in 2023, this converted houseboat has been updated inside with a bright, clean, modern living space that feels far more inviting than the exterior first suggests. The home is fully insulated and features a functional galley-style kitchen, open living area, private bedroom, full bathroom, and updated systems that make it well suited for liveaboard use.
2023 INTERIOR CONVERSION - AFFORDABLE LIVEABOARD OPPORTUNITY - FULLY INSULATED - 60 AMP POWER PROFESSIONALLY INSTALLED - WOODFIRE STOVE FOR WARMTH - COMPOST TOILET - WIRED FOR INCINERATING TOILET - NEW WASHER - NEW HOT WATER TANK - FRIDGE AND STOVE IN GREAT CONDITION - PONTOON BASE PARTITIONED EVERY 4 FEET - TRANSOM FOR ENGINE IF DESIRED - FLOAT HOME LIFESTYLE FOR A FRACTION OF THE COST
What makes this one stand out is the value proposition. The exterior does need some cosmetic attention and finishing work, but the inside has already seen the heavy lifting and presents as a very usable, updated living space. For the right buyer, this is a chance to get onto the water at a much lower cost than a conventional float home, with the added flexibility of a transom already in place should someone wish to explore adding propulsion in the future.
