Description

Few boats in her class pair outright pace with real offshore manners as well as the TechnoHull 38 Grand Sport. This example was built in Greece in 2022 by a yard known for performance RIBs. She matches the model's well-regarded Dynastream hull with twin Mercury 450R outboards, which deliver 900 horsepower of supercharged V8 performance. The engines show approximately 580 hours.

At the heart of the 38 Grand Sport is TechnoHull's patented Dynastream hull, a deep-V with two ventilated steps. Very sharp entry angles and a deadrise that changes along the length of the hull give a notably soft, dry and stable ride, so she holds her line at speeds that would unsettle lesser boats. The builder and the boating press have reported top speeds of over 70 knots for twin-engine 38 Grand Sports. Actual performance depends on load, propellers and sea conditions, and can be confirmed on a sea trial.

Her registration documents give a length of 11.11 m (36' 5") and a beam of 3.15 m (10' 4"), and she is certified for 10 persons. A fiberglass hull and an inflatable tube collar make up her RIB construction.

The builder designed the 38 Grand Sport to be both a focused driver's boat and a comfortable day boat. Model features include:

- a protected helm behind a full-size windshield, with shock-absorbing bucket seats

- a forward console seat and a large bow sunpad with dry storage beneath

- a full walk-around deck with deep bulwarks

- an aft social area, offered as a sunbed or a U-shaped lounge

- a head compartment under the console with sink and shower, with a compact cabin that can sleep two

- 600 L of fuel and 100 L of fresh water
