Layout
Interior Layout – Two-Cabin Configuration
The Beneteau 321 is arranged in a two-cabin cruising layout, consisting of a forward owner's cabin and a single aft cabin. This configuration was standard on most U.S.-built vessels and emphasizes interior volume, storage, and cockpit functionality.
Forward Cabin: Located in the bow, the forward cabin features a large double V-berth with filler , overhead deck hatch, opening portlights for ventilation, hanging locker, shelving, and additional storage beneath the berths. The cabin is fully enclosed with a solid privacy door.
Main Salon: The main salon includes a U-shaped settee to starboard with a folding dining table that converts to an additional berth, and a straight settee to port that can function as seating or a sea berth. The salon benefits from generous headroom, multiple opening ports, and substantial natural light.
Galley: The L-shaped galley is positioned aft to port near the companionway and includes a two-burner gas stove with oven, double stainless-steel sinks, top-loading refrigerator with freezer compartment, and abundant storage cabinets and lockers.
Navigation Station: Opposite the galley on the starboard side is a dedicated forward-facing navigation station with chart table, electrical panel, instrument space, and storage below the seat.
Head Compartment: The enclosed head is located to starboard between the salon and aft cabin and is equipped with a marine toilet, sink with vanity, molded wet-bath shower, and storage lockers.
Aft Cabin: The single aft cabin is located to port and features a generous athwartships double berth, sitting headroom, opening portlights for ventilation, hanging locker, and additional storage. The two-cabin layout allows for a larger and more comfortable aft sleeping area compared to multi-cabin charter configurations.
