Description
The Maxum 2700 SE occupies one of the most desirable segments of the cruiser market, combining the accommodations of a family express cruiser with the handling, simplicity and trailerable beam of a single-engine platform. Originally introduced as the 2600 SE and renamed the 2700 SE for the 2008–2009 model years, the design offers a remarkably large cockpit, extended swim platform and comfortable mid-cabin interior while maintaining an 8’6” beam. With its modified-V hull and sporty profile, the 2700 SE remains an excellent choice for buyers looking for a manageable cruiser that can comfortably handle day boating, entertaining and overnight weekends.
This 2009 Maxum 2700 SE is powered by a MerCruiser 350 MAG V8 producing approximately 320 HP through a Bravo Three dual-prop sterndrive, with approximately 640 hours. The combination delivers strong acceleration, efficient cruising and excellent low-speed maneuverability, with performance figures around the mid-20-knot cruising range and approximately 35 knots at the top end.
