If you've been searching for a well-documented, well-maintained Everglades center console with a low-hour repowered outboard engine, and a trailer ready to roll — this is the one!
This 2007 Everglades 243CC checks every box for the buyer who wants legendary capability, family-friendly versatility, and the peace of mind that comes from thoughtful ownership history. Built on Everglades' legendary unsinkable USCG-rated foam-filled hull construction, the 243CC is a boat that earns its reputation in Florida's demanding inshore and nearshore conditions — from running the inlet on a lumpy morning to idling up to a sandbar on a flat afternoon.
Super strong, super quiet, 2016 Suzuki 300HP outboard that performs. The 2016 Suzuki 300HP DF300AP replaces the original outboard powerplant, meaning you're buying a boat with a nine-year-old motor with only ~291 hours. The DF300AP is one of the most reliable, fuel-efficient outboards in its class, and this one has been properly serviced: lower unit completed with fresh gear oil and new anodes, and the Suzuki SMIS digital gauge system restored by GaugeSaver. Digital controls give the helm a modern, clean feel that the original 2007 setup never offered.
A 2022 marine survey gave this boat above-average marks for its age — noting even compression numbers across all cylinders of the engine, low moisture readings throughout the hull, and solid structural integrity. Those records, along with the Suzuki owner's manual, original Everglades literature, and maintenance receipts, transfer with the boat. That's the kind of documentation package that builds confidence.
Additional features you'll use every trip:
The boat also comes with a tandem axle trailer. The 2013 AmeraTrail low-profile aluminum unit that received significant attention by the current owner: axle replacement, brake and disc service, full rewire, a 2023 Dexter DX7.5 surge brake actuator, upgraded Dutton-Lainson 2-speed winch, and tires dated 2022. You can tow with confidence from day one.
The boat includes a full canvas cover package — custom boat cover, console cover, engine cover, and seat covers — has kept this boat protected between uses. New batteries were also installed in late 2025. The hull was also recently compounded and waxed.
The seller has been upfront about minor items: the VHF LCD display shows slight fading, the Fusion radio knob's rubber coating is separating, minor signs of mildew on a few cushions, and a water pump/impeller service would be appropriate given the engine's age — though it is currently running well. The boat has minor cosmetic flaws but shows better than it's age. These are the disclosures of an honest owner.
This boat is set up for real use — nearshore or offshore runs, family days at the sandbar, and time on the water — not a tournament rig or a show boat. That's reflected in its condition, its maintenance record, and the way it presents.
Available for showings by appointment. Trial run and survey are encouraged following a signed purchase agreement. Offered by Ward Yacht Sales — Florida Licensed & Bonded Yacht Brokers.
